There are so many kids' indoor birthday party games to choose from. Let's see some of the most popular and fun games for boys and girls.
At a party for your young one, the most interesting part for little guests is the games. When attending a birthday party, children look forward to playing games. While planning for the party, it is very important that you arrange indoor games for kids. This will keep them entertained throughout the party.
Due to the availability of many different types of games for girls and boys, hosts are generally confused with it. Ensure that the kids enjoy the games, and do not break any items in your house. Remove items that you think the kids may damage while playing. Keep electrical sockets covered, and also put a cover on the carpet to prevent it from getting dirty.

Fun Games for Boys and Girls

Musical Chairs
This game is a most commonly played at birthdays. In this, chairs are arranged in a circular pattern with all the chairs facing outward. The players stand in a circle right next to the chairs. The number of chairs should be one less than the total number of participants.
A non-participant plays the music (this could be you). As the music is playing, the participants run around the circle. As soon as the music stops, all the players sit on the chairs which are available.
Since the number of chairs is less than the total number of participants, the one who does not get a chair is out of the game. The music and the game starts again after removing one more chair from the circle. This goes on until there is only one player left on one chair; he/she is the winner.

Freeze

In this, participants do a funny dance to the music, and they freeze in the positions they are in when the music stops. Those who are unable to stay in their frozen positions until the music played again, are out of the game.
The last player that is not eliminated is the winner. The guests get to laugh a lot with all the participants frozen in silly positions.

Simon Says

In this, the leader has to give an order to the participants. The participants only have to follow the order if the leader includes 'Simon says' followed by the instruction.
If the order is given without saying 'Simon says' first, the players do not have to do the task. If anyone obeys the command without the words 'Simon says', he/she is out of the game. This continues until only one participant is left.

Balloon Stuffing

This activity can be played individually as well as in a team; it is lots of fun when played in a team. Make teams such that a participant from every team is wearing loose clothes.
When the timer is set, team members in a group will try to stuff inflated balloons in the clothes of the participant. The winning team will be the one that stuffs the maximum number of balloons into the teammate's clothes.

Hula Hoop

In this, hula hoops are handed to the participants, they need to spin the hoops around their bodies.
The person who spins the hoop for the maximum period of time wins the game. If you do not have sufficient space in your room for everyone to play, you can set up a head to head competition to get a winner.
Whatever games you choose, make sure the children do not get hurt and they don't spoil or break household items.
