Planning your boy's birthday party? Then you have got to be thinking pirates, superheroes, cars, and those big, bad dinosaurs. Selecting the theme for a boy's birthday can be really easy.
All you need to do is to think of party themes that have action, energy, and excitement. Are you still flummoxed? Well, here is a list of creative and fun birthday themes for boys that will certainly delight your kid and have his friends talking for days about the wonderful birthday bash.

Superhero Party Theme

Be it Batman, Superman, or Spiderman, bring your child's crime fighting superheroes to life with this fun theme. The birthday party invitation can include logos of these characters. There are many superhero invitations available online for printing.
The party supplies can be coordinated with the theme. So you can pick up Spiderman cups, plates, napkins, and even a special Spiderman table cloth from any of the party supplies stores.
If you cannot find the superhero party supplies, then pick red and blue partyware for your Spiderman birthday theme. For the party favors, you can opt for Spiderman favor boxes containing superhero stickers, pencils, toys, and candies.

Race Car Party Theme

This is a great party theme for all those little NASCAR celebrities. This action-packed adventure ride will thrill boys in the age group of 6 to 10 years. For invitations, use cutouts of cars or graphics of race cars on it. Choose invitations from the Disney movie Cars.
Choose decorations that are in sync with black and white color theme. A host of checkered flags is a great decoration idea. For the party favors, stock up the goodie bags with small toy cars, sunglasses, plastic keys, and car stickers. The decorations can include pirate items such as old storage chests, costume items, and a cake baked in the shape of a ship. The pirate party theme is not complete without the fun pirate favors which include the inflatable swords, pirate flags, and figurines.

Dinosaur Party Theme

This is "dinoholic" party theme. The birthday party invites can be shaped as a dinosaur head with the sharp teeth as the invite or just roll up a piece of paper and place it inside the huge "dino" plastic eggs.
Decorate your room for the party in shades of brown and green to bring out the jungle effect. The party supplies have colorful graphic dinosaurs on the tablecloth, napkins, plates, and the glasses.
