Everyone, once in a while, needs a simple (yet extravagant) list of alcoholic drinks for a party. Whether it is a casual poolside party, or a special occasion, knowing which drinks to keep or order for your party is very essential.
You know your friends (guests) more than anyone out there, so be sure to ask for advice and suggestions. And if you still can't get the right drinks, we have put together a list of best alcoholic drinks for girls and guys. Read through the article and find out how easy it is to make them (and simultaneously, host a rocking party).

For Girls

When it comes to girls and their choice of drinks, the selections tend to surround lighter and fruitier low calorie drinks. So if you find yourself confused the next time you wish to unwind with a relaxing drink, the following list might come in handy.

Tokyo Tea

Definitely not a tea, but a fabulous fruity drink. A perfect beverage that tastes amazing and gives you a nice escape from the day. To make the Tokyo Tea, mix in ½ oz of vodka, rum, gin, 1800 Tequila, and Triple Sec with 1 oz Midori melon liqueur.

Grey Goose

Known as one of the smoothest vodka drinks, it has everything a girl needs. You can make the drink by mixing 2 oz Sour Apple Schnapps and 1 oz Grey Goose vodka together, and add either cranberry juice or 7UP. A perfect drink for a perfect "girls' night out".

White Russian

Are you in mood for something sweet? A White Russian will do the trick. To make the drink, mix 2 oz vodka, 1 oz coffee liqueur, and light cream. Just pour the first 2 ingredients in a glass over ice and fill it with light cream. Get a nice buzz with this White Russian.

Woo Woo

Can you picture yourself saying "Woo Woo" to the bartender? A much simpler version to the classic Sex on the Beach, a Woo Woo is perfect for happy hour, poolside party, or just to relax with the girls. To make the drink, mix 1 oz vodka, 0.5 oz Peach Schnapps, and 3.5 oz cranberry juice. Just pour it over ice and start sipping. Yummy!

My Pink Lady

All girls love pink, even in our drinks; especially in our drinks. My Pink Lady is a glamorous drink that will surely tickle your senses. To make this drink, add 0.5 oz Absolut Kurant, 0.25 oz Malibu and Midori, and a dash of Grenadine. Shake the ingredients with ice and strain in a martini glass ¾ full with lemonade.

Mai Tai

You can make this drink with quite a few variations. However, we'll stick to the original recipe for now. Take 1 oz light rum, ½ oz creme de almond, ½ oz Triple Sec, ½ oz dark rum, sweet and sour mix, and pineapple juice.
Take a Collin's glass and pour light rum, creme de almond, and Triple Sec (in this specific order). Fill the same amount with sweet and sour mix and pineapple juice. On top, add dark rum, place a straw, and enjoy.

Washington Apple

This drink is divine when you want a quick fix without having to gather a lot of ingredients. To make the drink, take ⅓ oz Canadian whisky, ⅓ oz Apple Pucker schnapps, and ⅓ oz cranberry juice. In a shaker, add the ingredients along with ice cubes. Strain in a shot glass and start sipping.

Strawberry Kamikaze

If you're a fan of strawberry flavor in your drinks, then this is the drink for you. Get 2 oz strawberry liqueur, 2 oz sour mix, 1 oz Triple Sec, 1 oz vodka, and ½ oz grenadine. In a shaker, add all the ingredients along with ice cubes. Shake vigorously and strain into shot glasses. Serve immediately.

Tequila Sunrise

Here's a fantastic tequila drink when you are craving for something amazing. Take 2 oz tequila, 2 dashes grenadine syrup, and orange juice. In a highball glass, place ice, tequila, and orange juice (in that order). Stir slightly and then add the grenadine syrup from top.

Blue Lamborghini

This drink is simple and all alcohol. If you're up to it, then and then only attempt to make it. In a shot glass, add ½ oz Bacardi 151 rum and ½ oz Blue Curacao liqueur. And that's it; have fun and be safe.

For Guys

Many a time, ordering certain drinks at a club or a party can be a bit difficult for guys. Well, it will be so if you're one of those who loves the taste of Sex on the Beach or Apple Martinis; sweet and colorful "girlie" drinks. Although there's nothing wrong with a person's personal choices in drinks, you might want to try some "real" man's drinks this time. Below is the list of drinks for men who can handle the hard liquor like a pro.

All-Irish Black and Tan

Now this is definitely a rugged man's drink. To prepare this drink, add Smithwick's Ale in a pint glass along with Guinness Draught (pour it over the back of a spoon). This drink shows strong appeal and a fun-loving, approachable guy.

Black Velvet

Tall, dark, and oh-so-delicious. For a night of portraying dual personalities, a classy champagne-drinking man verses a beer-drinking dude, a Black Velvet is the macho way to go. To make the drink, pour ¾ pint of Guinness and ¼ pint of Champagne together. Now don't think this drink goes levels beyond all regular drinks?

Buffalo Sweat

This drink is made with three parts of bourbon and one part of Tabasco. When you want a "real" kick in your mixers, just add the hotness of the Tabasco sauce and let your head get hot in no time. Oh, and you'll get super drunk as well.

Spicy Sandstorm

The Spicy Sandstorm is a notch below the Buffalo Sweat. To make the drink, you add one ounce of scotch and gin with ground black pepper, and finally a splash of Tabasco sauce. Sip one of these bad boys and you'll have an outrageous night for sure.

A Hole in One

For those who resemble a country-club socialite vibe, A Hole in One is jumping to become your signature drink. To make the drink, mix 1½ oz Johnnie Walker Red Label, 3 oz unsweetened tea, 1 tablespoon honey, and 1 lemon wedge. Stir all in a glass over ice and cruise the party with your swanky drink.

Dirty Martini

The martini is sharp and stays on the tongue after every sip. To make the drink, get 2 oz gin, 2 tablespoons olive juice, 2 olives, and 1 tablespoon dry vermouth. In a shaker, add all the ingredients in and shake 3-4 times. Then, strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass and place the olives in before serving.

Captain Cola

This is quite a famous cocktail. To prepare the drink, get 1 oz Captain Morgan Original spiced rum, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 small bottle of chilled cola, and ½ oz armagnac. In an empty bottle, add about 200 ml cola, rum, lemon juice, and armagnac. Place the cap on the bottle and turn the bottle upside down for a few seconds. In a tall glass, place crushed ice and pour the drink in.

Well, the girls had their Strawberry Kamikaze, so why not the boys. To make the drink, you need 1½ oz Smirnoff No. 21 vodka, ½ oz Triple Sec, and ½ oz lime juice. In a shaker, place all the ingredients in and shake properly. Strain the drink in a shot glass and have at it.

Black Sunday

This again is a fabulous drink. All you need is 1 part Bacardi 151 rum and 1 part Kahlua. Mix both liquors with ice in a shaker. Strain in a glass and serve.

Buchanan's en Las Rocas

This is a no-hassle drink as all it requires is Buchanan's Deluxe Scotch Whisky and ice cubes. So get your glasses ready and pour the drink on ice; serve and enjoy.
Whether your idea is to simply relax and have fun with your friends or perhaps get drunk (don't drive after that please), these coolest drinks will provide you the best possible way. And if these drinks don't make your party a success, I don't know what will. Happy indulging!
