Hazelnut Cheese Balls

  • Shredded cheese, 8 oz.
  • Butter, 4 oz.
  • Flour, ⅔ cup
  • Salt, 2 tsp.
  • Hazelnuts, toasted and finely ground, ⅓ cup
  • Dashes of hot pepper sauce
Preheat the oven to 350°F and in the mean time prepare cheese balls. Add all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and blend them together. Then prepare tiny balls of the mixture and place a hazelnut in the center. Place these on a greased baking dish and bake them in the oven for 15 minutes. Your delicious and crispy cheese balls are ready in no time.

Chicken Nachos

  • Tortilla chips, 1 bag
  • Black beans, 1 can
  • Tomato, diced, 1
  • Shredded cheese, 1 lb
  • Onion, diced, ¼
  • Sour cream, 10 oz.
  • Guacamole, 2 cups
  • Salsa, 2 cups
  • Shredded lettuce, 2 cups
  • Jalapeños, diced, 2
  • Chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, 3
First grill the boneless chicken along with some onions, peppers and garlic in a preheated oven at 350°F. On a flat tray, place the nachos first and add one layer of cheese with another layer of chips. Then add some cheese and add a layer of black beans over the earlier layer.
Add chicken breasts over the tray of nachos or tortilla chips, with a heavy topping of cheese. Place this tray in the oven for about 5 to 10 minutes, till the cheese melts. Remove the tray from the oven and top the nachos with onions, pepper, lettuce, jalapeños, salsa sour cream and guacamole.

Lettuce Chicken Wraps

  • Butter lettuce, 1 large head
  • Ground chicken, 1 lb.
  • Grated ginger,1 tbsp.
  • Oyster sauce, 1 tbsp.
  • Peanut oil, 2 tbsp.
  • Cornstarch, 2 tsp.
  • Chopped chestnuts, ⅔ cup
  • Soy sauce, 3 tbsp.
  • Minced scallions, 8
In a skillet, heat the oil over medium flame and add the scallions, chicken, and cornstarch. Stir it well till the chicken is cooked. Add the chestnuts, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and salt and cook these ingredients for about a minute.
Once the flavors are blended in the dish, serve it with lettuce leaves spread on a serving dish. Place the chicken very carefully over these leaves and wrap the lettuce around the filling.

Cheese Steak Quesadillas

  • Provolone cheese, 1 lb.
  • Onion, 1
  • Flour tortillas, 1 large pack
  • Frozen chopped steaks, 1 pack
  • Butter, ½ stick
  • Green bell pepper, 1
  • Garlic powder, 1 tsp.
  • Jalapeños, 1 cup
  • Mushrooms, 1 cup
Dice the onions and pepper finely, and chop the mushrooms and jalapeños. In a pan, saute the onions, peppers, and mushrooms, cook the frozen steak with them and add some garlic powder to the mixture. In another pan, add the butter and heat till it melts. Add the tortilla to the pan and add some cheese to it.
Then add the mixture of steak and vegetables along with some more cheese. Add another layer of tortilla on top of the mixture and cook it on medium heat. Flip the whole wrap on the pan and turn it slightly golden. Cut into halves while serving and serve with salsa.
